adelaide
breeze blows
daylight
saving
cool
red wine
winks
outside the window
the first leaf
yet to fall
a caul of cloud
covers
the new born moon
on pause
before the dead
rise
discard the shroud
and breathe

i like this coral.
ReplyDeletethanks paul i am doing a series of them. outside the window can be "reality" (i cant think of a better word as reality has lost meaning in the sixties) or it can be the imagined or inner world. i love the idea and it came from you and roberto - isn't it the last line in detectives ... sorry i dont carry it with me to check
ReplyDeleteyep the last line. do yrself a favour and read 2666. it surpasses the detectives and is the sum of all his genius. an incredible writer..
ReplyDeletePaul I am going to read 2666. I already have a copy. When I am unpacked and living in Kalgoorlie I will read it. I have read Amulet - a gem.
